Terms of Service

Last updated August 1, 2026

1. The Service

TRYX, Inc. ("TRYX") provides software for tracking, reviewing, and exporting billable time and expenses, available via web and mobile applications (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the firm you represent.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure. Firm admins are responsible for the seats they invite and may add, manage, or remove team members. You must be authorized to act for your firm to accept these terms on its behalf.

3. Subscriptions and billing

The Service is offered on a subscription basis, billed through Stripe. Fees are based on your plan and seat count. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. If a subscription lapses, access to the Service may be restricted until billing is restored; your data is not deleted because of a lapse.

4. Your data

You and your firm own the data you put into TRYX — time entries, notes, clients, matters, and receipts. You grant TRYX a limited license to host and process that data solely to provide the Service. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy and Data Security & AI pages for details. You can export your data at any time.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the Service: no unauthorized access, no interfering with its operation, no reselling it, and no using it to violate the law or third-party rights. We may suspend accounts that threaten the security or integrity of the Service.

6. AI features

AI features — note formalization, dictation transcription, task-code suggestions, and matter suggestions — are assistive. When a note clearly names the client or matter, the client and matter are filled in for you and marked "Filled from your notes", with one tap to undo; a less certain match is shown as a suggestion you can tap to apply, or ignore. A suggested billing code is filled in for you and marked "AI suggested", so you can see it came from AI and change it before you save. A note that AI has rewritten is labelled as such until you save it. Nothing is billed until you save the entry. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated text, and any suggested matter or billing code, before submitting or billing it. TRYX is not a law firm and nothing in the Service is legal advice.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TRYX's total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid to TRYX in the twelve months before the claim. TRYX is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost billing data, even if advised of the possibility.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. A firm admin can remove a team member from the firm's settings. To delete a firm account and its data, contact us at info@tryxapp.com and we will remove it — deletion is handled this way so that a firm's billing records can't be destroyed by a single account. We may terminate or suspend access for material breach of these terms. Upon deletion, your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we will update this page and the date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
